Over the planning period which you have set aside for you wedding, we will provide you with examples and ideas for your wedding ceremony. From your opinions on those ideas, we help you create the perfect wedding for you, then we go to the location you choose to perform your ceremony: in a park, on a beach, at your home, in a bed and breakfast, or any location that is special to you.

We are not here to tell you what your wedding should be, but we are here to help you facilitate the wedding you have always dreamed of. Since we are Interfaith ministers, we welcome you no matter your beliefs or sexual orientation, and proudly perform gay and lesbian weddings. In addition to weddings, we are available for commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, domestic partnership celebrations, baptisms, naming ceremonies, house cleansings, funerals, and other life celebrations.

We believe in complete religious freedom. This means we do not require you to join a church, accept beliefs that you would not otherwise hold, nor do we require premaritial counceling. Pre-maritial counceling is available at your reqest only.

Partnership with Kristin's Riverwalk in Downtown Stevens Point

Recently HWC was lucky enough to be able to sit down and talk with Kristin, the owner of Riverwalk, and strike a deal for our clients. Kristin has a beautiful banquet room which can be reserved, and because you are our client, you can reserve it at a very reasonable cost. Please contact Kristin at (715) 341-8178 for more details, just be sure to let her know that we will be performing your ceremony. Kristin's Riverwalk is located at 1140 Clark Street, next door to the Elks' Club, diagonally behind the Portage County Library.

This does not affect our normal policy of coming to where ever you want your ceremony to be held. We are still willing to perform ceremonies outdoors, at your home, or any other location you choose.

Becoming Greener

In an attempt to reduce our carbon footprint on our Earth, we have joined our efforts with Nepalese Paper. Nepalese Paper provides handmade, tree-free papers that are known to last, are fair-trade and beautiful too. We are currently switching our letterhead, business cards, and other stationary from paper made from trees to Lakota (a small bush that grows back after pruning) paper. Nepalese Paper also has wedding invitations, thank you notes, and other supplies for you wedding.
